CHG FOOD TRUCK
Court House Grounds.
This food truck and subsequent packaging designs were created for the American bistro called Court House Grounds. Located in Danville, IN, this restaurant has been a family business for years—which heavily influenced the visuals of this design.

A historic feeling but easy-to-read serif font pairs with the simple logo, creating something that feels refreshing but still true to its roots. The hand-drawn illustrations were made to look as if they were pulled straight from a family recipe book, further strengthening the connection to CHG's past while still keeping them present.
Identity Design.
The name Court House Grounds is very important to the business, as it describes the physical location this restaurant has existed at since the 1800's. Using a top-down view of CHG's location on the town square in Danville as inspiration, I created a logo that references this important and historical aspect of their business while still looking clean and refreshing.
